A slow week in Sedalia

This week was really slow, and pretty frustrating.

Tuesday we walked around, then saw an investigator so we talked to
him, and offered to help him with some service, after we changed into
service clothes and helped him move some rock, we had a little lesson;
where he said he didn't really have a desire to join the Mormon church
now, but he might in the future. That was pretty disheartening; but
it's all good. Then we tracted a little in a trailer park, then tried
potentials, and our canceled dinner, so we ate at the Youngs, then
after dinner we tried a few people out

Wednesday we did service, we helped a member move a very good friend
of hers who has opened up a lot to the church i guess. After that we
went and helped the same investigator as the day before, well we ended
up talking for a while since his dad showed up late to collect the
rock we shoveled, but we helped them shovel gravel into buckets then
load them into a car. After that we changed, and then got the stand
partially set up for the Thanksgiving night kick off downtown where we
will be passing out stuff.

Thursday we helped a returning member set up a specific chair, an
office chair particularly, at the church because he has a bad back so
he needs it to sit in. After that we went to visit a few less active
members; then visited with the M family. After that we went and visited
with the same less active we helped set up a chair. After that we
tried to visit with some people but couldn't get in to see anyone.

Friday we had a zone training and didn't get back until about 3.
After we got back we tried some people, nothing, again, so we visited
with a member. Then after we had dinner visited with an investigator;
it was a SLOW day.

Saturday we helped some move all day, we were there for like 6 hours
because the dad has some health problems that prohibit him from
lifting anything so they really needed our help, so that's where we're
all day.

Sunday we had church, then tried to visit probably 15 people, and
NOBODY could visit with us, it was the slowest day of my mission
probably honestly. We had wrong addresses, wrong numbers, and just a
ton of denial. Well, it's all good, because it's another week.

It was a slow and hard week; but we made it through and we get another
week to improve! Hope everyone else is doing good! Take care!! Keep it
real!!
