Christmas

Hello all! This week was pretty good!

Tuesday, we went to visit with an investigator. He's a super cool man
and would join the church but his wife is a member of the community of
Christ so he doesn't know what to do. He has a ton of faith and is an
awesome guy, he already knows the Book of Mormon is true and
everything, his wife just doesn't approve of him joining the church.
After that we went and visited with V at his work. Then we we
tried some people, then later we visited with a less active family who
has been struggling to attend church for a while.

Wednesday, we had District Meeting then we went to District Lunch.
After lunch we went to our apartment for a little. Then we went and
tried some people out. We didn't have much success. We had dinner with
M. M. our recent convert, then visited with her, usually we
visit with her kids but the girls weren't there so we just got to talk
with her, which was nice.

Thursday, we did our weekly planning. Then we went to V's house
and met with him. He's applied for college and is planning on going
into counseling, it's so sweet!!!!!! Then after dinner we went home
teaching to assist a guy with his home teaching.

Friday, we went to an authentic Mexican restaurant in town. It was
good, we took some cookies to V and J, we are helping them
get into a schedule of reading the scriptures every day. Then after
that we went and tried to contact some people we had no success. Then
we went and had a late dinner because nobody had signed up to feed us.

Saturday, we had our ward correlation, then we had lunch with a
member. After lunch we met with a less active who we've had trouble
meeting with, it was a good meeting. We tried to contact some more
people. We had dinner then we went and visited with another less
active member.

Sunday, we had a guy return from his mission in Brazil, he spoke along
with the Bishop. We taught Sunday School about the Second Coming and
for priesthood we had a lesson about Christlike lives from the Ezra
Taft Benson manual, I would encourage everyone to read that chapter
from the manual, it's an AMAZING chapter. Well, then we helped set up
for the big Christmas musical fireside that the ward out on. After
that we went to lunch at a members house. Then we drove around
inviting people to the musical fireside until it started. It was a
good performance. A lady would read some scriptures then the choir
would sing a song to go along with it.
